Elly De La Cruz (born January 11, 2002) is a shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds in Major League Baseball. Signed by the Reds as an international free agent in 2018, he made his MLB debut in 2023 and quickly emerged as one of the game’s most exciting young talents. Known for his rare combination of power, speed, and athleticism, De La Cruz has twice been selected to the MLB All-Star Game and became one of the few players in history to record at least 20 home runs and 60 stolen bases in a season.
