Anthony Volpe (born April 28, 2001) is an American professional baseball shortstop for the New York Yankees. Drafted by the Yankees in the first round of the 2019 MLB Draft, he made his MLB debut in 2023 and quickly became known for his speed and defense. In his rookie season, Volpe became the first Yankees shortstop to win an AL Gold Glove as a rookie, and he’s also produced on the bases with 24 and 28 stolen bases in 2023 and 2024.
