Matt Olson (born January 18, 1994) is a first baseman for the Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball. Drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft, he made his MLB debut in 2017 and quickly became known for his elite power and defensive excellence. Olson has earned multiple Gold Glove Awards and was a key contributor to the Braves’ lineup, combining high home run totals with strong on-base skills and elite fielding at first base.
