Austin Wells (born July 12, 1999) is a catcher for the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball. A first-round draft pick by the Yankees in 2020, Wells made his MLB debut in 2023 and quickly became a key part of the lineup, hitting for both power and run production from the catching position. Known for his left-handed bat and offensive upside, he combines hitting prowess with strong instincts behind the plate as he continues to develop at the highest level of the sport.
